We just wanted to say thank you for today - you really listened to David and I and you managed to put into words all of the things we wanted and I can't thank you enough for that and making it as easy as possible for us. Lots of people told us what a lovely service it was and how well you spoke about Dad - thank you.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for making it the most perfect send-off for my mam. You made a very difficult time a lot easier and I desperately wanted to say “thank you”.
Honestly, you were absolutely superb. So, thank you so much. It was down to you. That made it special. It was exactly what she wanted.
Again, a massive, massive thank you.

Thank you so much for the lovely way you delivered our thoughts and readings. Looking at mum's photograph as I write this and I know Mum would have approved of your gentle touch. You are a credit to the Celebrant Community. Regards Christine

Just a little note to you to say "thank-you" for your service today.
Most people came up to me and said that they found the service very moving and "lovely".
Your carefully chosen words offered comfort and helped others to begin to reflect upon their relationship with Bob in a more meaningful and less distressing way.
So my heartfelt thanks go to you today.

Thank you for a lovely service. I loved how you talked about his life, then put my bit in, then talked about what other people said about him as well.
It was lovely. Nicely done.

Just wanted to reiterate - on a personal level it was a lovely service, I think it reflected Dad and made us smile and cry, so thank you.
From a professional point of view I thought you did an outstanding job, I just wish I had a celebrant of your calibre to call upon down here! Very well done.
Once again thank you for the time you put into creating such a personalised service.

We would like to send out heart felt thanks for last week's ceremony which celebrated ███ ███'s life. It was everything we hoped for and many people told us they were touched by the service. Thank you for everything, we know you went that extra mile to make sure the photos were included and we are so pleased you did. I think everyone went away thinking about ███'s whole life and all she accomplished in that time rather than just her sad demise.

Thank you for the caring way you conducted the service for my late sister.

Many thanks for all of our family for your efforts. We all enjoyed the service as best as we could.

Helen was celebrant at my Mam’s funeral just over a year ago. She came highly recommended by the funeral director and really took time to learn about Mam. Whilst we didn’t meet face to face until the day of the funeral as I am based in Scotland, I felt immediately at ease by how compassionate and understanding she was. The funeral service was beautiful and her narrative was a key part of that; she pitched her words at exactly the right level and tone - the one thing I wanted was a realistic and fitting tribute to Mam and that’s exactly what I got. I would have no hesitation in recommending Helen.

Thank you Helen. It was a lovely eulogy for her. Lots of people commented how well it went and especially on the photos. It was very personal and well done. It was especially nice when you spoke about us how you looked at us. I found it comforting. Thanks again for making a difficult day bearable.

Everyone was so impressed with service and the way you constructed and delivered Mam's celebration of life.
Reading through the service again a couple of times brings comfort and your ability to convey this is a very special gift.
Many thanks for all you have done and kindly listening to me with patience when I needed it most.

Hi Helen, just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart thank you so so much for today. It was absolutely perfect and a brilliant and fitting tribute to my dad x

My niece was recommended to Helen, following the passing of our dear Mother. As a family we had only ever previously experienced Catholic Requiem Masses.
However as a family we wanted to reflect our Mother's own beliefs, which were neither overly religious or spiritual but were gentle open-minded beliefs based on fundamental acts of human kindnesses to one another and a belief that we should be kind and protect Mother Nature's wondrous gifts. (Accepting that our dear Mother could be a feisty little Geordie woman if a situation arose)
We arranged a family gathering and for Helen to visit us in the comfort of our niece's home. Helen has a wonderful calming presence - such a rare quality these days.
After her introduction, Helen was keen to hear our individual and collective facts, memories, reflections and thoughts. She released an energy between the family with discreet prompts which was so lovely to be a part of, it was infectious - it really lifted our spirits at a time when we were grieving for our loss, we found this quite cathartic.
I felt for Helen as I wasn't sure if she could possibly make sense of and order our ramblings. But from the summary notes she sent through later, she had.
Our Mother's Service was a simple family and friends affair as our Mother had lived a simple life, that revolved around her Family, her friends, her community - and Helen encapsulated the very essence of our dear Mother from our reflections at the Service and discreetly supported my brother and I, to participate in the Service. Those who attended were quite taken with the whole service.
I would highly recommend Helen as a Celebrant to any family who experiences the loss of a loved one - though I believe Helen is more than capable of rising to any occasion to be the voice on behalf of a family on other matters.
Thank you Helen

I'm not sure if I thanked you on Monday for the lovely service you did for our little juney. You have a lovely way about you and put us at ease from the first phone call, you were kind, patient, caring and yet still able to gather jumbled information at a most difficult time and turn it into a lovely story.
You really captured Juney's essence and told the story of her life as a loving, feisty and full of fun lady. Which is exactly what we wanted.
Please don't take it personally that I would not be in a rush to use your services anytime soon... However, we would definitely use you again in the future and recommend your services to others.

Just a note to thank you for yesterday. Your service was warm, wholehearted and professional and just what I wanted. [funeral director] said you were good and he was right - I couldn’t have asked for a better service.
Take care - may you continue to bring comfort to others in their time of sadness -
God Bless Helen and thanks again.

Just wanted to drop you a note of thanks for the lovely service you delivered today. Several of mams family commented on how fitting it was too. I think Mam would have approved!

Thank you so much for the fabulous service that you delivered last week for my Mam. Dad + I couldn’t have asked for anything better. You really captured Mam’s spirit in your words, which is a very difficult job for you when you’ve not met someone. It was very thoughtful when you specifically made eye contact with Dad + I during parts of the service, that really helped us. So many people commented to me how wonderful they thought you were :-) and lots of my friends said that when you read my words you did it in a tone that sounded just like me - so huge thumbs up for that! Also thank you for the support you provided to us during our meetings + the ideas for photos in the crematorium, they were great! I hope you can help other families as much as you helped us. Keep up the fantastic work! :-)
Katy
This is just a short note of thanks for all you’ve done to help us all of Depaul to see Adam off in a very warm & personal way. You’ve really made such a difference to us all. Thank you a thousand times!

Just a few words to say thank you for the service you performed at our Mothers funeral. Your presentation was excellent. People were very complementary about the whole thing. A great mix of story and humour. Thank you once again.

Thank you for Lesley's service. Everyone commented on how nice it was, and how we did her proud.
Jackie
Thanks for today it means a lot.

Choosing Helen to direct our beloved Grandma’s funeral was one of the best decisions we’ve made. At an incredibly difficult time, Helen was compassionate, caring and professional throughout. She was genuinely interested in finding out about Grandma, what she was like as a person and details about her life. Helen’s way of collecting our memories – taking us for a nice coffee and asking about our family tree and memories we had – including sensory memories – was a lovely way to paint a picture of Grandma and provided us with many smiles, as well tears.
Helen then did a wonderful job of summing up Grandma, and made sure that we were kept up-to-date with a draft of her eulogy, which we were able to add to or amend if we so wished.
On the day of the funeral, Helen’s calm and caring nature put us all at ease and she spoke beautifully about Grandma and the life she’d led and the legacy she left behind. Everybody at the funeral commented on what a lovely service it was and we wholeheartedly agree – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Helen’s service
